Budhathoki reached the pinnacle of success at the IBFF World Powerlifting Championships 2024 held in Bangkok, Thailand.

• Gold in Deadlift
• Gold in Squat
• Overall World Champion in the Senior Men’s 110 kg category

This triple gold victory established him as a world-class powerlifting champion.

• 4th Place at the WFF Universe Championship (2022), becoming the first athlete from Sikkim to represent India at the event
